  • What, exactly, is a Professional Podcast Profile?
  • A: You have a CV, maybe a website, a bio, a headshot, and a LinkedIn profile, right? Now add to that a podcast interview (featuring me interviewing you) that serves as an introduction to who you are, what you're working on, and what you're good at. It's an opportunity to bring your resume to life. It's the interview before you get the interview. It's a personal marketing tool you'll share with peers, managers, active (or potential) recruiters, clients, and more. This is good for anything you're trying to get recognized for.

 

  • Q: How much does it cost?
  • A: This is a new type of service so I'm still working it out, but for now, standard Professional Podcast Profile pricing is $250 per 15-minute chunk of content.

 

  • Q: What do I get when I purchase a Professional Podcast Profile from The Underswell?
  • All of this is included for each session you order:
    • A 13-16 minuted interview episode (audio only and video) 
    • A graphic title card to share
    • A custom introduction by me (before the interview)
    • 1x review of proposed interview questions before we record
    • A custom link to your episode which will be featured on YouTube, Spotify, and Appled Podcasts
    • A listing/mention in our newsletter

 

  • Q: Is there a cost to be on The Underswell podcast?
  • A: Yes and no. We often invite people from a wide range of industries, experience, and positions to be on the show as a Featured Guest. Typically our invited/non-paying guests, are experienced professionals with deep expertise in their field, or an extraordinary tale to tell. Often, these are what we call Captains of Industry, and Experienced Career Navigators. If you'd like to be featured on our show to enhance your professional profile and have not been invited to be a Featured Guest, production fees start at $250 per episode. 

 

  • Q: Will I own the audio/video file?
  • A: Not typically. Our preferred method is to host your recorded episode on our website, and our branded channels (YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts). You will have a specific link and an embed code (if requested) that you can use for your website, social media channels, and other professional profile pages.

 

  • Q: How long does it take to get a Professional Podcast Profile done?
  • A: After we have a discovery call, and book and complete a recording session, we typically need 7-10 days to deliver your produced episode and marketing assets.

 

  • Q: How long are the Professional Podcast Profile episodes?
  • A: Paid episodes are typically 15 minutes (suggested) each. You can always order more than one segment if you'd like more time being interviewed.
